Background
From emergency care to computational social science.
I worked as a paramedic for five years before moving into sociology and computational research. I earned an M.A. in Sociology at UNC Charlotte and a Ph.D. in Sociology at Cornell, after undergraduate minors in physics and data analytics. My research has also included climate change and human migration.
